Ousman began his career as a graduate civil engineer, gaining unparalleled experience in the major infrastructure engineering and construction space, where he has worked for over 14 years up to the level of Portfolio Manager.
He is committed to building a more sustainable future by changing the way infrastructure is built in Africa, to provide shelter for the growing population, especially the most vulnerable, whilst preserving our great planet for future generations to come.
Along his social entrepreneurial journey, Ousman has been recognized by major startup journals for his commitment to sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the less fortunate. Ousman is currently based in London and he lives by his favourite quote - "Be the change you wish to see in the World" - Mahatma Gandhi.
Larry honed his marketing, communication and branding - as well as business management skills - in the advertising industry in South Africa, working on leading local and international brands in South Africa and West & East Africa.
In 2019 he decided to leave advertising to pursue a career with purpose in the social impact and international development sector. With his experience in behavioural and human centred design, Larry is passionate about applying empathetic design methodologies to solve the most pressing problems affecting those at the base of the pyramid across Africa.
